Please make sure that you read the booking terms and conditions set out below before proceeding. You will be asked to accept these conditions and that you have read and understood them before you can proceed with your booking.
Bowling Prices
All bowling prices are inclusive of VAT at 15%. The price includes free bowling shoes hire. Any other drinks, snacks, meals and arcade games are not included in the standard price and must be paid for separately as taken. Inclusive party packages are available.
Bookings may be made up to 3 months in advance. Christmas and New Year are exceptions and may be booked up to 11 months in advance.
We periodically review our prices and if you make a booking in advance, the quoted price is only a guide and may change before the date of your visit. hollywood bowl reserves the right to charge the current price on the day of your visit.
hollywood bowl strictly forbids the “selling on” of bowling at an inflated price by a third party. In such cases bookings will be automatically cancelled.
Bookings
Online booking can be made for up to 12 people. For larger groups, see Party Reservations below.
All online bookings require a credit/debit card to guarantee and confirm the booking. Payment will not be taken in advance of your arrival, but the card will be charged a £10 no-show fee per booked lane, if the booking is not cancelled and you fail to arrive.
Should you not have a credit/debit card, please contact your local hollywood bowl direct.
Party Bookings
For bookings of 13 people or more, there are inclusive party packages available. Please refer to the individual bowl to discuss your party booking policy and cancellation policy.
Kids Party Bookings
Recommended for kids ages 4-10 years of age.
Minimum of 6 children required.
A deposit will be required upon booking.
At hollywood bowl, our staff will endeavour to make your party as enjoyable as possible for both the kids and parents or guardians. To help ensure this however, the kids must be supervised at all times by a parent or guardian (aged 18 or over) who will be responsible for the kids for the duration of your visit. We ask for a minimum of 2 adults for up to 12 kids and 1 adult thereafter for every other 6 kids.
Teenagers Party Bookings
Recommended for ages 11-15 years.
Minimum of 6 people required
A deposit will be required upon booking.
We recommend that your guests arrive 15 minutes prior to the bowling start time to allow for all party guests to check in and collect their shoes.
Parties may finish slightly earlier (depending on the length of games), therefore please advise guests’ parents to arrive 15 minutes prior to the anticipated finishing time.
At hollywood bowl, our staff will endeavour to make your party as enjoyable as possible for both the kids and parents or guardians. A member of staff will oversee the party to ensure it is a success, but parents are also required to be available.
Adult and Corporate Party Bookings
A deposit will be required upon booking.
Group parties available Monday to Thursday or at the weekend at the discretion of the manager.
Package price includes 2 games of bowling.
Cancellations
The majority of bookings made online, by phone or in person may be cancelled online. A valid booking reference number is required to proceed. Online cancellations may be made for the following types of booking:
- Bookings for up to a maximum of 12 bowlers
- Bookings for 3 games or less
- Bookings that are not due to start within 30 minutes
For party bookings, leagues games, bookings that are due to start within 30 minutes or those that do not match the above criteria, please contact the hollywood bowl direct.
Any cancellations must be made by the booking start time, failure to do so will incur a £10 no-show fee per booked lane. A cancellation reference will be given and should be kept as proof of cancellation.
Arrival
To allow for lane payment, collecting your bowling shoes and preparing your party for bowling, we recommend arriving at the bowl approximately 20 minutes before your preferred start time. Please have your booking reference available on arrival.
Payment
At hollywood bowl you pay for your bowling on arrival and any other purchases as you make them.
We accept payment by cash, cheque (with a valid cheque guarantee card), credit and debit cards: Visa, Mastercard, Maestro and American Express.
